Adorable cosy cafè in a secluded corner of Marrickville, with picturesque walks to & from, plenty of street parking, & charming service from full-hearted locals. Love coming here first thing on a weekend morning, & have come here twice when accidentally locking myself out. Very sweet hidden gem.

Great cafe in the back streets of Marrickville. Great Coffee with a good selection of pastries, sandwiches, sausage rolls and pies. The service was quick and friendly. There is a small dining area inside. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

A cute little retro bakery. The hot savoury pie and pastry were delicious. My latte was well done. They have plenty of outside sitting.

Not a bad place for breakfast. Coffees were good. Pastries and sandwiches were good. This place served an easy breakfast. The only thumbs down was the flies that kept buzzing around the cafe.

This place drips with charm. Its homey neighbourhood warmth, the well executed espresso, the friendly people, the counter seats by the window, all make for one of the most chill and comforting cafes in the inner west. Having a picollo by the window on a sunny mid afternoon, these are a few of my favourite things.

As someone who frequents and reviews a lot of cafes, I enjoyed my visit here. The menu is takeaway first (perfect for those morning cafe runs, it's well thought out esp next to the bus stop, the coffee is excellent, and the space has a lot of potential to become a local favourite. That being said, just a small note from a customer’s perspective, while everything on the plate and cups was warm and inviting, the front-of-house service could benefit from a little more warmth, too. A smile or a touch more friendliness in expression/ genuine conversation can help elevate the experience and make people feel more welcomed, valued, and for a better start to the day. It’s the little things that leave a lasting impression and turn a first-time visitor into a regular, at least that's how I see it. The coffees are smooth and lovely, and the music selection is great, by the way.

The little Marionette coffee shop is such a cute place. I enjoy having my morning coffee in such a positive environment. Very busy yet very bubbly with a nice music and a great team. Thank you for your hospitality.
